Sulla tela, in un riversare di materia magmatica, quasi ad essere vulcanica, vengono trasferite le emozioni (il pathos di antica memoria greca) suscitate dall’osservazione e dal pensiero.

Tutte le umane esperienze non possono prescindere dal “luogo”, che, in una misura spaziale, contribuisce a rendere il nostro vissuto indimenticabile. La magia dei luoghi rappresenta, dunque, uno dei principali fenomeni della vita umana ed è con questa consapevolezza che il colore e la materia, in una quantità pervasiva, sono stati prestati a sostanziare la “sintesi aerea” di Antonio Franchi.

L’espressione si manifesta attraverso accese luminosità coloristiche e campiture sorrette da un’idea di definizione geometrica, che permettono all’osservatore di immergervisi e di trovarvi una parte di sé. L’occhio di chi osserva viene catturato in un impatto emozionale accattivante e lo scenario fantastico e colmo di colore realizzato sulla tela induce ad una realtà onirica propria. Nella materia gli stimoli, i pensieri, le memorie, i sogni prendono forma e si fissano in modo indelebile.

In ogni dipinto la presenza del soggetto è soltanto percepita, proponendo ad ognuno, attraverso il titolo dell’opera, la propria lettura e l’immedesimazione nelle proprie esperienze e nelle proprie memorie, lasciando viaggiare il cuore e la mente in assoluta libertà di espressione e di pensiero.

La pittura viene esercitata con distacco da condizionamenti ideologici, in una forma sperimentale nuova, al solo fine di trasmettere le proprie emozioni in un flusso straripante di colori, toni e sfumature, coniugando esperienza e ricerca con metodologia originale e volutamente distaccata da imposizioni formali.

I tratti distintivi delle tele di Antonio Franchi sono rappresentati dalla freschezza della cromia e dalla ricchezza della materia, in un intrecciarsi dinamico e coinvolgente di colori chiari e scuri e di armoniche striature policrome. Basti pensare alla sensualità di New York, Union Square (2015), alle tonalità appaganti di Lipari (2015), alle contrastanti cromie di London, Saint James Square (2008) e The MoMA (2015).

Si evince la determinata tensione verso l’affermazione di un’espressione propria, attraverso l’immortalità dell’arte del colore, il quale trasporta plasticamente le emozioni fornite da suggestioni, emozioni e sensazioni oniriche ispirate dai luoghi di tutto il mondo, così unendo la pittura alla poesia.

On the canvas, in a dump of magmatic material, almost to be volcanic, are transferred the emotions (pathos of ancient Greek memory) raised from observation and thinking.

All human experience cannot be separated from the “place”, which, in a spatial measure, helps to make our experience memorable. The magic of the place is, therefore, one of the major phenomena of human life and it is with this in mind that the color and material, in an amount pervasive, were provided to substantiate the “aerial synthesis” by Antonio Franchi.

The expression is manifested through lit luminosity and coloristic backgrounds supported by an idea of the geometry, which allow the viewers to sink into and to find a part of themselves. The eye of the beholders are caught in an emotional impact catchy and the scenery fantastic and full of color made on the canvas is conducive to their dream reality. In the material stimuli, thoughts, memories, dreams take shape and are fixed indelibly.

In each painting the presence of the subject is only perceived, proposing to everyone, through the work’s title, his reading and empathy in their own experiences and in their memories, letting travel heart and mind in absolute freedom of expression and thinking.

The painting is practiced with detachment from ideological, in a new experimental form, only to convey the emotions in a stream overflowing with colors, tones and shades, combining experience and research with original methodology and deliberately detached from formal charges.

The distinctive features of the paintings by Antonio Franchi are represented by the freshness of the colors, and the richness of the subject, in a dynamic and engaging interplay of light and dark colors and harmonic striations polychrome. Just think about the sensuality of New York, Union Square (2015), the rewarding tone of Lipari (2015), the contrasting colors of London, Saint James Square (2008) and The MoMA (2015).

It follows the strong bent to the affirmation of his expression, through the immortality of the art of color, which carries plastically emotions provided by suggestions, emotions and dreamlike sensations inspired by places around the world, thus combining painting to poetry.
